Kadapa Oct 10, 2012:
YSR Congress leader and former Minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy has been slightly
injured in a road accident at Alavalapadu Cross Roads in the YSR district this
morning.
Police said Vivekananda
Reddy and his driver Lakshmi Narayana sustained injuries when the car in which
they were travelling was involved in a head-on collision with an RTC bus at the
Alavalapadu Cross Roads in Vempally Mandalam.
The accident took place
when Viveka was on his way to Kadapa from Pulivendula, police said, adding the
absence of the caution boards at a sharp curve near the cross roads has led to
the accident.
Viveka and his driver
were taken to the Kadapa Hospital after administering first aid.
