Khammam, Nov 8, 2012: Scores
of party leaders and hundreds of activists welcomed YSR Congress Party
honourary president Smt. Y. S. Vijayamma at the Khammam Railway Station when
she detrained from the Krishna Express here today.
After coming out of the
Railway Station, Vijayamma greeted people from her vehicle and left for
Tirumalaya Palem to undertake a tour of the flood-hit areas in Khammam
district.
She will visit the
flood-ravaged villages in Paleru, Khammam, Vyra, Sattupally and Aswarao Pet
constituencies in the district and meet the flood victims.
Earlier, hundreds of
party activists thronged the Warangal Railway Station and greeted Vijayamma
when her train stopped there en route
to Khammam. Vijayamma left for Khammam from Hyderabad by Krishna Express this
morning to undertake a one day tour of the Khammam district.
