Vijayamma Fee Deeksha from Sept 6

Hyderabad, Sept 5, 2012: YSR Congress party honourary president Smt Y.S. Vijayamma will begin a two day Deeksha at Indira Park in Hyderabad from tomorrow demanding the Government to implement the fee reimbursement scheme in its original form.

Vijayamma will take up the Deeksha at the same place where the party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy sat on a 7-day Deeksha in February last year demanding immediate release of funds for fee reimbursement.
It might be recalled that the Government had released Rs.1000 Cr towards the fee reimbursement hours before Jagan began his Deeksha on Feb 18. He ended his Deeksha on Feb 24.

The Deeksha of Vijayamma will begin at 10 am on Thursday and will last for two days.
YSRCP has been in the forefront of the struggle opposing the dilution of the YSR’s fee reimbursement scheme and was the first to demand full fee reimbursement for all eligible engineering students.
