TDP Leaders assault People Attending YS Jagan's Padayatra

Kurnool: Unable to digest the overwhelming response to YSR Congress party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Praja Sankalpa Yatra, the ruling TDP leaders resorted to attacks on people who attended the yatra in Kurnool.

In a fresh incident,  TDP workers led by Kodumoru Assembly Constituency incharge Vishnu Vardhan Reddy assaulted people and damaged vehicles owned by people in R Kontalapadu villages. The village surpanch and others planned to attend Yatra and hired two vehicles. Angered TDP obstructed them and attacked people.

The ruling party leaders also abused people and threatened with dire consequences if they attend the YS Jagan’s yatra. People also warned the TDP if they were not allowed to visit YSR Congress leader's Padayatra.

During the yatra, YS Jagan said that his aim was to see smile on the face of every farmer and added that the YSRCP would take suggestions from the farmers while preparing the party's election manifesto. He said his party would strive to improve the condition of the farmers.
