Shilpa Mohan Reddy to join YSRCP

Kurnool: In major blow for the ruling TDP in Kurnool district, former minister and TDP leader Shilpa Mohan Reddy will join the YSR Congress Party. Shilpa Mohan Reddy himself announced that he would leave the TDP and join the YSRCP on June 14 in the presence of YSRCP chief and Leader of the Opposition in the AP Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Shilpa family, which has a strong base in the district, has been at loggerheads with Bhuma family for long. When Bhuma Nagireddy and his daughter Akhilapriya had joined the TDP, Shilpa family strongly opposed it. Shilpa said that he is totally vexed with the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu's way of functioning and his indecisive and indifferent attitude. A peeved Shilpa has held a meeting with his supporters and decided to join the YSRCP.
