Sharmila resumes walking in Khammam District

Khammam, May 1, 2013:
Smt. Y.S. Sharmila, who took a 2-day break from Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra
following a hamstring injury on her left ankle, has resumed her walkathon from
Muchcharla village in Khammam district on 135th day on Wednesday.

Talasila Raghurm said that doctors who had examined her asked her to walk
slowly. “Doctors said she has recovered up to 95 per cent and can resume her
walking slowly,” Raghuram told reporters.
Adavamaddilapally,
Lalaiah Tanda, Marsagunta, Srirampuram Tanda, Timmarao Pet and Rajalingala
villages are scheduled to be covered during the day.
Smt. Sharmila unveiled
the May Day flag before resuming her Padayatra in the morning.
