*State speaks in one Voice;* *Probe DSC, Lokesh must quit*

Tadepalli, August 4: A single demand echoed across Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday as YSRCP organised roundtable and town hall meetings in districts and constituency headquarters: order a comprehensive CBI investigation into the DSC–2025 recruitment irregularities and secure the immediate resignation of Education Minister Nara Lokesh on moral grounds.

Acting on the call of YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, party leaders, affected DSC candidates, students, youth organisations, teachers, intellectuals and representatives of people’s organisations participated in large numbers. Candidates presented documentary evidence and explained how recruitment irregularities, changes in Sports Quota rules and the denial of appointments had damaged the prospects of eligible aspirants. The meetings unanimously demanded justice for affected candidates, immediate release of Fee Reimbursement arrears and implementation of the promised unemployment allowance of ₹3,000 per month.

Meetings were held across Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Alluri Sitarama Raju, Kakinada, East Godavari, Dr B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema, West Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, Bapatla, Prakasam, Kadapa, Nandyal, Kurnool, Anantapur, Sri Sathya Sai, Chittoor and Tirupati districts. Senior leaders, including Dharmana Prasada Rao, Dadisetti Raja, Margani Bharat Ram, Kodali Nani, Adimulapu Suresh, Usha Sricharan, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and others, addressed the gatherings.

Several meetings also demanded withdrawal of cases filed against protesting students and announced the next phase of agitation. Leaders declared that relay hunger strikes would begin from August 6, followed by large protest rallies on August 10.

YSRCP made it clear that the statewide movement would continue until the government orders a CBI probe, ensures justice for DSC victims, clears education welfare arrears and fulfils its promises to unemployed youth.
