*YSRCP seeks Unmapped and Anomaly lists*

Tadepalli, August 4: YSRCP MLC Lella Appi Reddy and former Minister Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani) on Monday submitted a detailed representation to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) seeking urgent intervention to address serious deficiencies in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

The leaders demanded the immediate booth-wise publication of the Unmapped and Anomaly Lists in the public domain and supply of the same to all recognised political parties, stating that affected voters should know their status well in advance and be given sufficient time to submit the required documents in the prescribed format. They also sought issuance of individual notices to every voter included in these lists to ensure that no genuine elector is deprived of the opportunity to rectify discrepancies.

The representation further raised concerns over the non-disclosure of supplementary electoral rolls from January 2025 to April 2026, lack of clarity regarding Form-6 applications, treatment of newly married women, pending Enumeration Forms and polling station rationalisation based on outdated electoral rolls.

Appi Reddy and Perni Nani also expressed grave concern over the alleged misuse of voters’ personal data through unauthorised private applications, unauthorised access to Enumeration Forms and coercive collection of OTPs from voters. They urged the Election Commission to conduct an independent investigation, preserve all digital evidence, identify those responsible and establish a mechanism enabling voters to verify and cancel any unauthorised electoral applications submitted in their names.

The YSRCP leaders reiterated that transparency, voter privacy and protection of every genuine elector are essential for preserving the credibility and integrity of the electoral process.
