Sharmila assures special budget for Ag.

YSR Congress Party
president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister Sharmila assured that a special
budget would be introduced for agriculture and a special Market Stabilization Fund
with Rs.3000 Cr created when Jagan became the Chief Minister.
Addressing people at
several villages during the fifth day of her Maro Praja Prasthanam on Monday,
Sharmila said YSRCP would also offer interest-free loans to farmers and women
and implement ‘Amma Odi programme’ to ensure each and every child would go to
school. Under this programme, two children in a family would get Rs.500 every
month for their studies, she said.
Speaking to people who
she met during the course of her Padayatra, Sharmila said sixty per cent of the
people in the state constituted farmers and the YSRCP would take all measures
for the welfare of farmers after coming to power.
At most of the places, people,
mostly women met her and narrated their untold sufferings complaining about
lack of power supply and irregular drinking water supply.
At Karnapapaiah palle, people
also complained that 108 services are not within their reach and they are not
in a position to get medical treatment.
While assuring them
that YSRCP on coming to power will restore all the welfare schemes of YSR, Sharmila
slammed the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government for diluting the Arogya Sri and fee
reimbursement scheme introduced by YSR.
Criticizing Chandrababu
Naidu for his false and impractical promises, Sharmila said the present
Congress Government failed to supply 7-hour free power to farmers while her
father YSR implemented the scheme without any difficulty.
