*Redbook rule has turned AP into a Jungle Raj*

Tadepalli, July 18: YSRCP Official Spokesperson Veera Sekhar Reddy launched a scathing attack on the TDP-led coalition government, stating that democracy has been buried in Andhra Pradesh and replaced by "Red Book Rule," where lawlessness, political violence and intimidation have become the order of the day. Addressing the media at the YSRCP Central Office, he said the State has descended into a "Jungle Raj" worse than Bihar, with constitutional governance replaced by political vendetta and fear.
Veera Sekhar Reddy questioned Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh over the brutal attack on ITDP activist Manchodu Mani, whose leg was hacked after he questioned corruption and irregularities involving Lokesh's office. He said the victim was first run over by a car and later attacked with deadly weapons, yet no meaningful action has been taken. Instead, attempts are being made to silence the victim through threats and monetary settlements, exposing the dangerous culture fostered under Red Book politics, he said.
He further stated that the coalition government has unleashed unprecedented violence against political opponents, with over 2,000 false cases foisted against YSRCP workers, accompanied by physical attacks and murders. Veera Sekhar Reddy said the breakdown of law and order is equally evident in the growing attacks on women. He cited incidents involving the harassment of a woman by Minister Sandhya Rani's PA, the suicide attempt of a woman principal following harassment by TDP MLA Kuna Ravi Kumar, the assault on a woman linked to Jana Sena MLA Arava Sreedhar's case, the public stripping and assault of a woman in Guntur by TDP leader Murthy, the abuse of a woman in Chandrababu Naidu's own constituency of Kuppam, and the rape of a Class IX minor girl by 14 TDP leaders in Yedugurrala Bali village.
Stating that the coalition government has become a predator rather than a protector of the people, Veera Sekhar Reddy said Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh have forfeited the moral authority to govern Andhra Pradesh by allowing corruption, violence and attacks on women's dignity to flourish unchecked.
