Sharmila resumes Padayatra on 170th day

Rajahmundry, June 5,
2013: Smt. Y.S. Sharmila, who has been undertaking Maro Praja Prasthanam
Padayatra on behalf of YSR Congress chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, resumed
her walkathon in Rajahmundry town on the 170th day on Wednesday.
Smt. Sharmila, who
stepped into Rajahmundry town by crossing the rail-cum-road bridge across
Godavari Tuesday evening amid welcoming showers, is scheduled to walk a
distance of 14.3 km during the day’s Padayatra.
Several thoroughfares
in Rajahmundry town and its outskirts are listed on the schedule today.
During a
period of 20 days, Smt. Sharmila will walk a distance of 275 km in 13 assembly
constituencies in the East Godavari district, according to Padayatra convener
Talasila Raghu Ram.
Smt.
Sharmila has so far covered a distance of 2235.8 km as on 169th day
on Tuesday.
