New Delhi: YSR Congress Party senior leader and MP Varaprasad said that his party will continue its fight for special status to Andhra Pradesh until the centre takes up debate on the issue in the Parliament.
The MP said the YSR Congress will also move no confidence motion against BJP led NDA till the centre accpet the demand. If the centre did not respond before the end of the budget session of the Parliament, the party MPs will relinquish their posts. All the MPs will put in their papers on the last of last day of the budget session.
Varaprasad said the YSR Congress will go to people and expose the TDP and BJP's failures in fulfilling the promises made by the two parties on special status issue. The proposed Duggarajapatnam port will help to strengthen Chittoor district. Centre will give nod if the AP government writes a letter, he said wondered why Chandrababu was not interested.
