Perni Nani calls on Jagan, to join YSRCP

Hyderabad, Jan 24,
2013: Machilipatnam Congress MLA Perni Nani (Venkatramaiah) has called on YSR
Congress Party president Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in Chanchalguda jail here
on Thursday.

Nani, who quit from the
post of Congress party whip in the assembly, told reporters later that he would
shortly join the YSR congress Party.

Nani accused the
Centre, TDP and Congress of conspiring against Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy and
troubling the YSR family as part of the political vendetta. “In these troubled
times the YSR family has been facing, I have decided to stand by it,” Nani
said.

“It is the wish of the
people of my constituency that I should stand by the YSR family and join YSR
Congress party,” he said and added that he would soon fulfill the wishes of the
people. “It is high time that I should join YSR Congress,” he said.

Perni Nani charged the
Congress leaders with joining hands with TDP president Chandrababu Naidu unable
to bear the growing popularity of Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy. “I know the gimmicks
of the Congress and TDP.”
