Nellore, Sept 20: YSRCP has criticized the coalition government for trying to level false propaganda and fix the Opposition Party leaders in the liquor scam that was not there while the real irregularities took place during 2014-19.
Speaking to media here on Sunday former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy said, the coalition is trying to fix YSRCP leaders in the liquor scam that is not there and are introducing news characters with a new confession naming the Opposition leaders.
While Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan had given varying figures during electioneering and it was scaled down to Rs 3,000 crore and despite adverse remarks by Court the investigation has been unfair and the SIT is nodding to its master’s voice.
The glaring examples are the arrests of two gunmen of Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy of whom one cooperated and he was given out of the way promotions while the other was harassed forcing him to move the court.
The recent entry of Satya Prasad whose confession names YSRCP leaders only shows how the persons are coerced before turning into approvers and the coalition friendly media churning out false stories is part of the conspiracy, he said.
The actual liquor scam took place only during Chandrababu’s previous term and the case will be haunt him in the days to come, he said.
Though the sales have increased during the coalition the revenue did not increase proportionately which shows the level of corruption, he said.
YSRCP has never given permission to any distillery and it has regulated the sales while the coalition has always left enough room for corruption.
We will dig up the 2014-19 liquor case of Chandababu and will bring to book all those who are unduly helping in targeting our party leader and cadre.
