People Make Offerings To YSR During Krishna Pushkarams

Amaravathi: The legendary leader and former CM Dr.YS Rajasekhar Reddy continues to live in people's hearts in spite of his demise. Everyone in the state worships him from their heart. A lot of people are observing the 'Pinda Pradanam' ritual that is usually done to their ancestors, during Krishna Pushkarams. Forty five activists and youngsters from Rentachintala of Macharla constituency in Guntur district made offerings to YSR as part of the ritual at Seetanagaram ghat. They prayed for his soul to rest in peace.

They spoke to recollect the services of the great leader to the Telugu-speaking states through his welfare schemes. They expressed concern about the ill fate being faced by the state after his demise. YSRCP state youth wing's member Murthala Uma Maheswara Reddy, district executive members Orsu Kasaiah, Tirupati Reddy, Gunda Kishore, sarpanch Gurrala Raju, vice-sarpanch Eluri Satyanarayana, MPTCs Umma Ramanjaneya Reddy, G.Padmajanath Reddy, BC cell mandal convener Tirupati Rao, Chevireddy Eruva, Pammi Sitaramireddy and others participated in the event.
