Tadepalli, May 8: Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy slammed the coalition government for its vindictive and unethical politics blended with rampant corruption and foisting false cases to divert public attention for its failures as a diversion politics.
Addressing the Party local body leaders from Chittoor, Annamayya and Satya Sai districts here on Thursday, he lauded the leaders who stood by Party defying all the pressures from TDP and said all those who troubled you now will be brought to book in Jagan 2.0.

The vindictive politics of Chandrababu has been unprecedented and he has been doing all this as a diversion tactics as he cannot face the people with all his promises remaining unfulfilled. Whenever there is a public outcry against the government he has been raising new issues from Tirupati laddu to film actress case only to divert the attention of the people.
But we are bound to bounce back you will get your due respect and those who troubled you will not be spared and be brought to book, he assured.
In the local bodies Chandrababu has been doing unethical politics be it Ramakuppam where he mocked at democracy by using all the official machinery and declaring the result unilaterally. In Roddam, Madakasira and Rajampet he has shown his sleight of hand and tried to usurp seats though his party did not have the required numbers.

He should be ashamed of such political games. When elections were held for local bodies, there was Covid and we maintained restraint and decorum following value based politics with accountability. We continued all welfare schemes which was the reason why we could gain so many seats in local body elections. TDP could win only in two municipalities and in Tadipatri, though the majority was very thin, we held back our local leader from any conflict which shows our character, he said.

Chandrababu has been degrading all institutions and the education, medical and agriculture sectors are bearing the brunt. While all our welfare schemes are scrapped, fees reimbursement has been diluted. He has paid only Rs 700 crore in place of Rs 3,900 crore. Aarogyasri has been put on the back burner and farmers are not getting MSP nor is there crop insurance. During our term, farmers were happy while we were giving Rs 13,500 input subsidy he promised RS 26,000 and has cheated the farmers.

While we have signed MoU with SECI to buy power at Rs 2.49 per unit to provide free power to farmers, Chandrababu has signed agreement to buy power at Rs 4.60 per unit. He has given away Rs 1,500 crore worth land to Lulu group and liquor is flowing all over the state. Sand is being sold and for any economic activity the local leader should be given his cut.
In the name of bonds, corruption and kickbacks planned by allotting mines and there has been a false propaganda against us by TDP’s friendly media.
One year has passed by and time will fly by and this time we will bounce back to power. We should stand firm and we will fight back against those who troubled us, he said.
