- Seven sessions spent
with counterattacks - Have you done at least
one thing beneficial for people? - No acceptance of
criticism towards Government’s faults and corruption - Passing negative
statements about opposition leader - People are feeling
ashamed of ministers’ vocabulary - You are to be credited
for degrading the assembly too: Srikanth Reddy
Hyderabad: YSRCP MLA Srikanth
Reddy criticised that not one time had the Government conducted the assembly
sessions in a decent manner. He commented that it had spent all the time
passing offending statements about the leader of opposition and YSRCP president
YS Jagan for exposing the failures and the corruption of the Government. He
remarked that the Government had failed to bring out a good law or to make a
meaningful discussion in any of the 7 assembly sessions conducted in the last 2
years. The agenda of the Government had always been counterattacking and
sidetracking the opposition.
Srikanth Reddy
complained that the Government had vengefully commented that the leader of
opposition was new to the house and had attacked him verbally only because he
was trying to hinder the corrupt activities of the Government. He compared the
TDP MLAs with mythological Kouravas and commented that they were trying add
more top their number by encouraging party defection. He ridiculed that people
were laughing at the activities of TDP. He suggested to the ruling TDP to check
if they had done anything beneficial to the people.
Srikanth Reddy
questioned if the Government had implemented at least one of the 5 files
Chandrababu had signed on the day of his swearing in. He slammed the Government
for its corruption and for not doing anything good to the state and moreover
commenting that YS Jagan was coming in the way of development. He reminded that
YSRCP had assured of complete support to the Government in developing the
state. He remarked that the ruling TDP had never cared for the suggestions
offered by the opposition YSRCP and now it had miserably failed in
administration. Besides, it had also degraded the assembly, he opined.
Srikanth Reddy
complained that the Government had withdrawn the provision of microphone from
the opposition leader a number of times in the assembly. He remarked that the
people were feeling ashamed to hear the vocabulary used by the ministers. He
commented that it was confusing if the speaker of the house was Yanamala
Ramakrishnudu or Kodela Siva Prasad Rao. He complained about TDP’s harassing
woman MLA, deleting records and rules that were inconvenient for them and
defiance to the rules discussed in BAC. He commented that they would praise
themselvesand would run the house as per their will. He slammed the TDP
Government for not realizing at least one of the manifesto-mentioned promises.
Srikanth Reddy
condemned the Government for showing some animated and photoshopped posters and
presenting them as AP’s capital and questioned when this bluffing would end. He
ridiculed Babu for boasting about inspiring personalities like Satya Nadella,
Bill Gates and Obama. He reminded the usage of words by the ruling party
leaders like psycho and robber and suggested they stopped it. He also mentioned
that in spite of all the foul language they used in the house, they
counterattacked the opposition leaders by saying they used indecent language.
Srikanth Reddy
questioned how the ruling party could file cases against the opposition for
pointing a finger at the Government’s faults and corrupt activities. He
suggested that the assembly was run decently at least in the following sessions
and answers were given to the questions posed by the opposition. He specified
that YSRCP was promptly against the ruling party’s corruption and supportive of
the state’s development. He suggested that the Government protected the rights
of the state at least now.
