Nothing new in Navanirmana Deeksha

Hyderabad, June 9: Reiterating that there is nothing new in the Navanirmana Deeksha of Chandrababu Naidu but only a single point agenda of criticizing Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSR Congress has said Chief Minister asking people to take oath on a corrupt-free state is ridiculous.

‘Chandrababu Naidu’s term is full of corruption and he asking the people to take oath to strive for a corrupt free state has no meaning as there are numerous charges against him,’ party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma told reporters here on Thursday.

There is nothing new in his speech and it is full of rhetoric as he failed to mention about the land being given to his kin at throwaway prices and other serious charges he has been facing but dedicated his speech only to criticize YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stating that he is stalling the development.

‘The fact remains that Chandrababu Naidu has nothing positive to tell about his two year term as there is hardly any development activity and not a single project was started nor a single industry went to steam and is shifting the blame on the opposition leader.

As he has nothing positive to tell, to cover up all his failures, he has been blaming the Leader of Opposition with baseless allegations,’ she said.

The Chief Minister has been antagonizing people of Rayalaseema more so those of Kadapa and held them responsible for the faraway Tuni arson incident which has no sense of logic. He has called people of Kadapa with names and now has been trying to pacify them.

As there are hardly any achievements, he has been resorting to mudslinging she said adding that inviting NGO leaders on stage and converting government programme into a party programme is not in good taste.

His bravado that he need not fear Modi or KCR would have no takers as his corrupt practices were exposed before Narender Modi and when it comes to KCR it is in the open about his ‘ briefed me’ audio and he flying like a scare crow to Vijayawada shifting the base in a hurry and not questioning the Telangana government about the river water sharing, she said.

Chandrababu Naidu has been making an issue out of the remarks of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy by saying that can anyone talk about a Chief Minister in that way but it is the other way round. Can a Chief Minister go back on his poll promises, she said.

In a separate press conference, party leader Venugopal said that TDP government has been showing discrimination in allotment of funds.

While  YSRCP leaders were denied development funds, those who switched sides were getting lion’s share which shows the blackmail tactics of TDP, he said.
