YSRCP's general secretary, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, criticised that people were suffering due to the hasty decisions of Modi's Government. Cautioning that coming towards women's gold would be a wrong step, despite getting everybody's support after cancelling high denomination currency notes, he stated that Modi would regret if he did something to hurt women's sentiments. Speaking during Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress programme, he suggested that the Union Government should withdraw its action at least now.
