Hyderabad, Sept 4, 2012:Government on Monday issued two GOs , MS 66 and 67, directing all private Engineering colleges to fill the B category seats or Management quota seats through online only.
As per the GOs, the technical education department will monitor the admissions through its exclusive portal and the colleges will have to strictly follow the rules while filling the management quota seats.
The Government has also said the admissions completed till now under the B category or management quota will be cancelled. It may be noted that several private engineering colleges have secretly completed admissions under the management quota even before Aug 30.
The GOs said all private engineering colleges will be given unique identity and passwords to upload the information of seats available in their colleges. The data once uploaded will not be allowed to change under any circumstances.
The colleges will have to provide all the information regarding their status such as minority or non-minority, number of seats available, schedule of admissions and the details of the registration fee.
The details will also have to be published prominently in newspapers, according to GOs.
