Match-fixing between Cong and TDP

Hyderabad, September 17: YSR Congress party MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy alleged that both the ruling Congress and main opposition Telugu Desam Party have resorted to match fixing to adjourn the House frequently.
Talking to reporters at Assembly media point, the Tirupati MLA said that the Congress party resorted to match fixing at the behest of TDP to avoid giving replies on public issues. Though all the parties have agreed to discuss the power issue in the Business Advisory Committee meeting, however, he said that the TDP stalled the proceedings by staging protest before podium of Speaker Nadendla Manohar.
Stating that one day out of five-day Assembly session was wasted, he asked the legislators of all parties to cooperate with the Assembly Speaker to run the House smoothly for the remaining days. Responding to YSRCP's stand on Telangana issue, he said that the party stands by to its resolution made in the plenary session.
