Making Assaults Is TDP's Nature

  • Akhila Priya has not been assaulted in any way
  • TDP conspiring to sidetrack the hindrances posed for YS Jagan's tour
  • Bhuma and his daughter should resign and seek fresh mandate
  • Why are TDP MLAs not arrested for assaults?
  • Why are arsonists of tulluru not yet arrested?
  • YSRCP's official spokesman Ambati Rambabu
Guntur: Out of jealousy for the affection garnered from people by the leader of opposition and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, during his tour in the capital region, TDP was creating fake stories about Bhuma Akhila Priya being assaulted, exclaimed YSRCP's official spokesman, Ambati Rambabu. Criticising that making assaults was the nature of TDP and not of YSRCP, he slammed the police for not arresting the TDP MLAs responsible for earlier assaults.

Ambati Rambabu demanded that Chandrababu should try to solve the problems exposed by YS Jagan, if he had any commitment to the people, instead of practising degraded politics. Stating that he was there during the reported time of attack, Ambati informed that there had not been any kind of attack of Akila Priya as alleged. Speaking to the media on Friday at Guntur, he criticised Chandrababu for going back on the promise of sanction of plots to the farmers who had given away their lands for the capital city's construction. He also criticised offering lands differently for the farmers who had given away lanka lands and assigned lands.

Ambati complained that the story about Akhila Priya being attacked and escaping with the help of the police was only cooked up by minister Devineni Uma. He added that this was only an attempt to sidetrack the attention being given by people to YS Jagan's tour in the capital area and the affection he had been garnering from people. He condemned the police for taking 8 activists of YSRCP under control, in light of these false allegations.

Mentioning the role of TDP leaders like Chintamaneni Prabhakar, MLA Sathish, MLA Bhuma Nagireddy in assaults and arsons at various occasions in the past, Ambati questioned if the Government and the police were not able to see them and take action. He challenged Bhuma Nagireddy and his daughter Akhila Priya to resign and seek fresh mandate. Expressing respect for Shobha Nagireddy, he suggested to the father-daughter duo to not degrade in politics.
