Kiran Govt in minority: YSRCP
12 Nov 2012 6:09 PM

Kurnool, Nov 12, 2012:
YSR Congress legislature party deputy leader and MLA Sobha Nagi Reddy today
demanded Governor ESL Narasimhan to direct the Kiran Kumar Government to prove
its strength in the assembly.
Speaking to reporters
here in the wake of the MIM withdrawing support to the state Government, Sobha
Nagi Reddy said the Government is in minority and has no right to continue in
power.
“The Government has
already lost the confidence of the people and now it has slipped into minority
after the MIM’s decision,” she said, adding that the Governor should instruct
Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to prove his majority in the assembly.
“TDP chief Chandrababu
Naidu introduced no-confidence motion when the Congress had majority in the
assembly but it is unfortunate that he has not come forward now to introduce
the no-confidence motion against the Government when it has lost majority,” she
said, asking Naidu to make his party’s stand clear following the MIM’s decision.
