Kiran silently working on bifurcation: YSRCP
02 Nov 2013 4:01 PM
Hyderabad, Nov 2,
2013: YSR Congress party on Saturday charged Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy
with working for bifurcation of the state practically and silently at the
direction of Congress president Sonia Gandhi while posing as an integrationist outwardly
and hoodwinking the people.
Addressing a press
meet here, party spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao said Kiran Kumar has been
consistently taking steps to weaken the Samaikyandhra agitation on the
instructions of Delhi. “Playing to the tunes of Cong high command, Kiran is
making the people sacrificial goats,” he said.
Being a CM, he is
uttering pitiable words while quoting the late Indira Gandhi for public consumption,
Gattu said, and added that the CM miserably failed to oppose Sonia Gandhi who
had sliced the state.
“Wearing the mask of
an integrationist, the CM is just playing hide and seek on the issue and
cheating people while silently implementing the agenda Sonia Gandhi,” Gattu
said, adding if Kiran is really an integrationist, he should have resigned long
back when CWC decided to divide the state.
Gattu said Kiran has
laid out red carpet for TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in the Telangana districts
where Smt. Vijayamma was not allowed to visit. “Why are you showering so much
love on Chandrababu Naidu? Is it part of the quid-pro-quo wherein TDP had come
to your Government’s rescue in the assembly during the no-confidence motion?”
he asked Kiran Kumar.
Gattu lashed out at
Ministers Jana Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy for creating hurdles to party
honourary president Smt. Vijayamma’s tour in the flood hit areas of Khammam and
Nalgonda districts.
Calling Jana a fake
protagonist of Telangana, Gattu said the ministers are scared of the popularity
of YSRCP in the Telangana area. “Both Jana and Uttam Kumar are not fit to be
the ministers as they have violated constitution by preventing our leader from
visiting the flood-hit areas.”
Referring to the
remarks of TDP leader Varla Ramaiah that the arrest of Smt. Vijayamma is a
stage managed drama, Gattu said Varla has gone mad and lost his mental balance.
