Junior Doctors call off strike

The Government junior doctors, who have been striking work for the last three days, have called off their agitation and started attending duties since this morning.
The doctors took the decision following the success of their talks with the Government representatives. The Government agreed to fulfill their demands within a given time frame. With the doctors calling off their strike, patietns at several government hospitals across the state heaved a sigh of relief.
“The Government has responded favorably to our demands and agreed to release Rs.1350 Cr for improving medical facilities in the rural areas,” said the representatives of the junior doctors. “The government has also agreed to conduct medical counseling in full transparency,” they said.
The government will issue the GO with in a weak after clearing all legal hurdles.
