YSR Congress Chief Sri Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy being forcibly injected with fluids in the NIMS Hospital after police have foiled his Samaikya Deeksha Wednesday night.
Hyderabad, Oct 10, 2013: Police swooped on the
indefinite fast venue of YSR Congress chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at Lotus
Pond here last night and forcibly shifted him to NIMS Hospital for medical treatment.
This is second time that police foiled Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy's Deeksha for Samaikyandhra in the last one month. He earlier took up the Deeksha in Chanchalguda jail demanding the Centre to keep the state united and not go ahead with the bifurcation process.
Police took the step as his health condition deteriorated
at the end of fifth day of his fast with sugar levels, BP and pulse rate going
down abnormally.
Special police teams swooped on an unsuspecting Jagan
Mohan Reddy at 10.55 PM and forcibly took him to the hospital. The resistance put up by his
followers proved futile.
Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy began his indefinite fast on
Oct 5 demanding the Congress leadership and the Centre to keep the state
united.
