Jagan remand extended till Oct 9

The CBI special court at Nampally in Hyderabad on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of YSR Congress president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy and other accused in the Vanpic Case till Oct 9.
The judicial custody of Nimmagadda Prasad, Brahmananda Reddy and former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana has also been extended till Oct 9.
Adjourning further hearing of the case till Oct 9, the special court directed all other accused, whose names are not found in the charge sheets, to attend the further hearing in court personally.
Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, who also attended the court hearing, was granted bail by the court on submission of sureties by Venkatrami Reddy and Satya Sai along with Rs.25000 cash surety.
The court then directed Dharmana Prasada Rao and others to attend the court on Oct.9 for further hearing. The CBI counsel argued that no government permission is needed for the prosectution of Dharmana Prasada Rao.

After the adjournment of the hearing, Jagan met his mother and YSR Congress honourary president Smt Y.S.Vijayamma and wife Smt Bharati at the court premises with the permissin of the CBI judge.
