Jagan seeks stringent punishment to rape accused

Hyderabad, Oct 23, 2013: YSR Congress party chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has condemned the kidnap and rape of software techie Abhaya in Hyderabad.
In a statement issued here, he said the culprits should be awarded stringent punishment and asked the Government to provide security to women.
" I am shocked to learn of the incident. The culprits should be dealt with sternly. I also call upon the Government and the police to take suitable steps to ensure that no such incidents are repeated," he said, wishing speedy recovery of the girl .
