Hyderabad, Nov 4,
2013: YSR Congress chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has replied to the Union
Home Ministry’s letter dated Oct 30 seeing its suggestions with respect to
various issues related to bifurcation of the state.
In his reply, Sri
Jagan Mohan Reddy reiterated the party’s stand to keep the state united and
asked the Centre to reverse its decision of bifurcating the state.
“We want to make it
clear in no uncertain terms that our party is committed to an integrated Andhra
Pradesh and will oppose any move to divide it,” he said in his reply.
He accused the
Centre of going ahead with the bifurcation move ignoring the view of the
majority population in the state and the 3-month agitation in Seemandhra area.
Saying that YSRCP
has opposed the GoM which was constituted for facilitating the bifurcation, he
requested the Centre to reverse its decision on Telangana.
8067 Emails sent to PM, GoM

of the letter at a press meet, party senior leaders Konatala Ramakrishna and
Mysura Reddy said that 8067 villages so far emailed to the PM and Group of
Ministers resolutions adopted in their Panchayats in favour of keeping
the state united.
