Jagan authorised on deciding floor leaders

Hyderabad,
May 31, 2014: The Parliamentary Party and Telangana Legislature Party of YSRCP has
met at Lotus Pond and passed a resolution authorising the Party President YS
Jagan Mohan Reddy to announce the leader in both the Houses.

Nellore
MP, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy told media after the meeting here on Saturday that
they will play a constructive role and extend issue-based support to the NDA
government but at the same time the state interests will be high on agenda.

Brushing
aside the rumours that some more will leave the Party, he said, we are united
and will continue to take up people’s issues and work for betterment of the
state and national interests as stated by our party president YS Jagan Mohan
Reddy.

P
Srinivasa Reddy, the Khammam MP echoed the same feelings. They said Polavaram
issue would be taken up in the House and will be debated as there are some
loopholes in the Ordinance.

The three
MLAs from Khammam, Thati Venkateswalru, P Venkateswarlu and Madan lal said that
they will be with the people and play a constructive role in the development of
Telangana state. They denied  the rumours that they
were shifting to TRS. No one contacted us and we are not ready
to cross over and will work under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. “We
will extend issue-based support to TRS” they said.

Later
addressing the media at the Party Office, Party leader Jyothula Nehru has
listed out the minute-to-minute programme of the review meetings YS Jagan Mohan
Reddy would be having on June 4, 5 and 6 in which Parliamentary constituencies
and relevant assembly segments would come under review.

The
meeting will be held at Rajahmundry in the first phase and analysis would be
worked out with the leaders and contestants of the five districts of
Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East and West Godavari districts, he
said.

On
Polavaram project he said, it should come up as a multipurpose project as
envisioned by YSR and should be useful to both Seemandhra and Telangana as
well. After we have parted like brothers there is no point in making it a big
issue he added.
