Chittor, Jan 19, 2013: YSR
Congress Party Chittor district leaders on Friday prevented some activists of
other parties from illegally enrolling members into the cooperative societies
at Irala in the district.
While the deadline for
enrolling members ended on Jan 16, some people tried to enroll 170 new members
into the cooperative society by submitting a single DD in favour of election
officials after the deadline ended. Single window officials were also found
entering the names in their registers to which YSR Congress leaders objected.
YSRCP leaders found
that most of the new members being enrolled were business people and employees working
at other places. They later lodged a complaint with the police.
