Tadepalli, Sept. 21: YSRCP has condemned the attack on its Party workers who were protesting against the irregularities in the DSC 2025 and reiterated the demand of a CBI inquiry preceded by the resignation of Education Minister Lokesh.
Speaking to media here on Monday, Party State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said TDP goons had attacked the YSRCP leaders and cadre who were protesting against the DSC scam and police sided with the ruling party which shows the manner in which how the coalition is misusing the institution.
The friendly media has been distorting the issue while the ruling party is trying to pit the selected candidates against YSRCP which is not the case.
We are against those who got jobs by producing fake certificates at the cost of those who worked hard but could not get the job as like a never ending story evidences are surfacing with every passing day.
We condemn the attack on our Party cadre and the government should answer as to why those who got jobs in Sports quota were there and why the TDP cadre gathered at the same venue where we were protesting. Our Party cadres was there to give a representation on the DSC irregularities and our demand and they were attacked which shows that there is no place for democracy in the State.
The fight is not between two parties nor is between the those who got jobs and YSRCP as it is being wrongly projected by the TDP friendly media, but it is against those who got the jobs through unfair means and those who allowed them to happen.
The Sports quota issue is very much in the open on how the respective association have denied their participation or winning medals and the government giving them jobs even without clearing the qualifying TET exam. The GO issued and reverting them after the recruitment shows the intent and scale of the fraud, he said.
Right from notification to the filling of vacancies there have been errors galore and when we are questioning and showing evidences, the coalition is trying to divert the attention and is pitting those who got the jobs against our Party.
Such degrading and manipulative politics are not new to Chandrababu who is trying to shield his son but ultimately truth prevails and all those associated with the scam and those who are trying to protect the wrongdoers will have to face the consequences, he said.
