I pray to God that YS Jagan comes to power

Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and YSR Congress party president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy interacted with the local public during his mass outreach programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra on Day 238 at Nathavaram Mandal of Visakhapatnam district on Thursday. Thousands of people followed the people's leader in his padayatra that continued towards the outskirts of Mulagapudi via Erravaram Jn. and Erakampeta. YS Jagan lent a patient ear to the people who poured out their woes.

Tribals from the Narsipatnam region bemoaned their struggle with diseases like Dengue and Malaria. "The government's healthcare system is in a shambles while officials continue to turn a blind eye to our problems. Our people are losing lives due to illness," they cried. The local doctors themselves admitted that hundreds of dengue cases had been registered in the region.

When YS Jagan enquired about the measures taken by the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), tribal people from Goligonda mandal said that they had no idea about a single ITDA scheme. They added that the same was the state of lakhs of tribals in the region. The people's leader promised that after the YSRCP comes to power, social justice would be guaranteed.

Daliya Varalakshmi, a woman from Mulagapudi Village in the Mandal, approched YS Jagan regarding her struggle with the bank loan. After Chandrababu betrayed the women's self-help groups in the name of loan waiver, Varalakshmi was burdened with Rs 70,000 bank loan. She said that she was happy to hear YS Jagan's Navaratnas. "I pray to God that YS Jagan comes to power," she added.

Several women from the region shared their problems with YS Jagan and spoke about the harassment by the Janma Bhumi committees. "I have applied for pension for about 10 times now. They issue pensions to only those who offer bribes to the Janma Bhoomi committee," complained an 80-year-old woman.
