Tadepalli, June 22: YSRCP official spokesperson Karumuri Venkata Reddy demanded that Kakinada Rural Jana Sena MLA Pantam Nanaji immediately apologise for his remarks against former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, stating that public representatives must maintain dignity and decorum in political discourse. Speaking to the media at the YSRCP Central Office in Tadepalli, he said Jana Sena leaders, following the example set by their party leadership, have increasingly resorted to abusive language and political provocation over the last two years.
Karumuri Venkata Reddy said the coalition government has failed to address public issues and is instead encouraging diversionary politics, intimidation, and attacks on opposition voices. He stated that several coalition leaders speak about criminality while ignoring the criminal cases pending against many leaders within their own ranks. He questioned why Jana Sena leadership remains silent when its own cadre face humiliation and attacks and why no action is taken against leaders who repeatedly make offensive remarks.
He further said YSRCP has exercised restraint because Y.S. Jagan has always encouraged political culture and responsible conduct. However, he warned that repeated personal attacks and abusive comments against the former Chief Minister would not be tolerated. Karumuri Venkata Reddy urged Pantam Nanaji to exercise restraint, maintain respect in public life, and refrain from using derogatory language against political opponents.
