*YSRCP condemns targeting of MLC Chandrasekhar Reddy’s educational institutions*

Nellore, June 22: YSRCP MLC Lella Appi Reddy strongly condemned the inspections and actions initiated against the educational institutions run by MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy, describing them as a clear act of political vendetta aimed at silencing those who exposed irregularities in DSC-2025 recruitment. Speaking to the media after visiting Chandrasekhar Reddy in Nellore, Appi Reddy said it was highly suspicious that only his institutions were being singled out for scrutiny while numerous other institutions across the state were left untouched.

He stated that the action was not merely an attack on Chandrasekhar Reddy but an attack on the YSRCP itself and on the democratic right to question the government. YSRCP's 18 MLCs staged a protest in Nellore wearing black badges and paid tributes at the Ambedkar statue to register their opposition to what they described as the misuse of official machinery against political opponents.
Appi Reddy said the coalition government has made it a practice to file cases, conduct raids and intimidate those who expose its failures and irregularities. He criticized the government for introducing a dangerous precedent by targeting educational institutions for political reasons and said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh should politically answer criticism instead of resorting to the misuse of power.
He asserted that YSRCP would intensify its agitation and transform the movement that began in Nellore into a statewide campaign. Condemning the action against Chandrasekhar Reddy’s institutions in the strongest terms, he said the party would not be intimidated by cases or raids and would continue its fight against what he described as the coalition government’s undemocratic functioning and growing politics of retaliation against those who question its failures.
