Govt to challenge interim orders on fee
25 Aug 2012 4:32 AM

Hyderabad, August 25, 2012: The government today decided to challenge the interim orders issued by the High Court on Friday fixing the engineering course fee at Rs. 50,200 for colleges which have submitted affidavits saying all prescribed facilities are available in their colleges.
The government earlier informed the High Court in a written communication that it would issue a GO on fee limits for various professional colleges today but in view of the interim orders issued by the apex court, it changed its mind.
The government has now decided to challenge the orders as the enhanced fee limit would cause additional burden on the exchequer. The government is aiming to get some relief by challenging the orders.
