Govt. doesn’t have big heart: Sharmila

Chitravathi, Oct 23,
2012: YSR Congress party leader Sharmila said today the Government doesn’t have
the big heart and generosity as exhibited by the YSR family members.

Speaking after
inspecting the Chitravathi dam works here in Anantapuram district, Sharmila
asked the Government to complete the dam works immediately and release the
irrigation water to the farmers in the district.

Seeking an explanation from
the officials concerned on the inordinate delay in completing the dam works, Sharmila
told them that the way the work is going on reflects the Government’s lackadaisical
approach towards the farmers and farmers’ problems. “Even officials are also
showing their lethargy towards the people’s problems,” she said.

Asking people not to
lose their hearts, Sharmila told them Jagan will soon come out of the jail and
stand by them in solving their problems.

Earlier, when Sharmila
entered Chitravathi, people welcomed her heart fully and led her to the dam
area.
