YSRCP leaders taking oath at Tirupati meeting rededicating themselves to the party
Tirupati, June 14,
2013: Ringing the Party bells for local body polls, YSR Congress Party
honourary president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma gave a clarion call to the party rank
and file to work in unison and bring victory to the Party in the ensuing
Panchayat elections.
Addressing a meeting of
party leaders and activists of Nellore, Anantapuram, Kadapa, Chittor and
Kurnool districts here on Friday, she exuded confidence that the party would
win the forthcoming local body polls but still the party leaders and activists
should work hard by going to the people and taking up their issues and problems
on a priority basis.
“The forthcoming local
body polls will provide us a good platform to show our strength. Work together
and capture 80 per cent of the village Panchayats,” she exhorted the party
activists. Saying that the activists are pillars of the party, she told them to
work hard for the party victory. “You shall all mature and transform yourselves
into leaders in the future,” she told them.
Pointing out that YSRCP
has been winning all the by polls and other elections ever since its formation,
Smt. Vijayamma asked the party leaders and activists to move ahead with the
same victorious spirit and bring victory to the party in the forth coming local
body polls.
She said the
reservations for BCs in the local body polls should be made out in proportion
to their population.
CBI
adopting vindictive methods
Castigating the CBI for
adopting a vindictive approach in YSR Congress chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy
case, Smt. Vijayamma asked why the agency has not investigated TDP chief
Chandrababu Naidu or the Chief Minister.
She said CM Kiran Kumar
Reddy had doled out 135 per cent concessions to attract Rs.1500 Cr investments
in Chittor district while the rules permitted only 50 per cent concessions.
“Why is he not being investigated by the CBI?” she asked.
Rejecting the
allegations that Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy has been misusing the jail manual for
Mulaquats, Smt. Vijayamma said he has become a victim of political conspiracy
hatched by Congress and TDP.
“He will soon come out
of the jail and usher in the Golden Rule of YSR back,” she asserted.
