Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy sympathized the family of the farmer Pullayya who committed suicide due to huge debts and enquired the circumstances that forced the farmer to commit suicide. Later, he had a face-to-face discussion with the DWCRA women near Peerla Gudi Centre. He expressed anger saying that the district is in drought, the poor are migrating due to lack of work and the government is in a situation that it has eyes but blind, doing nothing!
Around ten DWCRA women expressed severe anger on Chandra Babu mentioning his negligence in implementing the ‘Loan Waiver’ promises he made before elections. ‘We were deeply disappointed and depressed, because we expected lot of jobs once Babu comes to power’ said the women. Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy, was deeply moved by the words of a women by name Leelavati, who said that her son declared that he will not return to home until he gets a job. He responded positively for the request of a student by name Nagamani, when she requested him to come to SV University to show his solidarity and support to the fight of the unemployed students against the government.
Speaking at this juncture he said that the fight will not stop until justice is done to the farmers and the DWCRA women.
