Digvijay trying to buy Cong, TDP leaders
13 Dec 2013 5:59 PM
Hyderabad, Dec 13,
2013: YSR Congress Party on Friday stated that the Congress General Secretary
in charge of AP affairs Digvijay Singh is trying to buy his Congress colleagues
and TDP leaders in the state to ensure support for the bifurcation bill in the
assembly.
Speaking to reporters here, party
leader Nalla Suryaparakash said besides Congress leaders, TDP leaders are also
meeting Digvijay Singh and holding consultations.
“TDP leaders have said that along
with the bill, money bags were also brought to Hyderabad. That could be true.
Digvijay also described Naidu as his good friend. In such a case, what is their
share and that of their leader Chandrababu in the money?” he asked.
“Naidu is extending support to the T
bill to escape a possible CBI investigation into his misdeeds.” Surya Prakash
said the stance of Chandrababu Naidu and his party leaders seemed to be
supporting the T bill in the assembly similar to his support to the Government
in
the past during the no-confidence motion.
“Naidu has not spoken a single word
about keeping the state united so far. It is all because of his conspiracy with
the Congress,” he stated.
Surya Prakash demanded TDP to
discharge its responsibility as the main opposition party in the assembly and
introduce no-confidence motion against the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government to
thwart the attempts of the Centre to bifurcate the state.
“If TDP is not
willing to introduce the no-confidence motion, Chandrababu should reveal
whether he is ready to support such a motion if introduced by YSRCP,”
Suryaprakash asked.
