Cong would have jailed even YSR: Sharmila

Anantapuram, Oct 25,
2012: YSR Congress Party leader Sharmila expressed the doubt that the congress
Government would have jailed her father YSR if he were alive today.

Addressing an impromptu
public meeting at Atmakuru in Anantapuram district during the course of her 8th
day Padayatra today, Sharmila accused both Congress and TDP of conspiring together
against her brother and party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy unable to bear
the brunt of his growing popularity.

YSR brought Congress to
power through his Padayatra but the Government has continued to harass the YSR
family without showing any gratitude. “They know very well they would not be
allowed to have their way if Jagan is allowed to meet people,” she said.
