CM's criticism of Sharmila immature

Hyderabad, Oct 31, 2012: Asserting that neither Congress nor
TDP would come to power in the next assembly elections, YSRCP today warned the
leaders of both parties not to indulge in unnecessary criticism of Sharmila’s
Maro Praja prasthanam.

Taking umbrage to the criticism of Sharmila’s Padayatra by
Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP MLC and
spokesman Jupudi Prabhakara Rao told media persons here the CM has no understanding
of the issues.

It might be recalled that Kiran, while speaking about
Sharmila’s Padayatra, said in an interview there is no use of Padayatras. “What
will happen if Sharmila undertakes Padayatra?” Kiran asked.

Prabhakara Rao said the CM has no administrative experience and
people are also thinking he is immature, Jupudi said.

There is no chance of both Congress and TDP coming to power
and people are not going to believe their promises, he said. “While Chandrababu
Naidu has promised a loan waiver during his Padayatra, Kiran is asking him to
explain as to how he would make it possible,” Jupudi said, adding this is all
ridiculous.

Anyhow, people will not believe their promises and they are
not going to acquire power either, Prabhakararao remarked. “It is YSRCP that
will come into power,” he asserted.

Taking a dig at Kiran’s statement that the Government has
been implementing the Rs.1 kg rice scheme and the interest free loan scheme, Jupudi
questioned the Government’s intention in implementing the welfare schemes.

“Why don’t you talk about the 300 per cent increase in diesel
prices and three-fold hike in RTC charges? Also, why don’t you mention about
the dilution of the 108 and 104 services and about your failure to supply power
even for four hours a day?” Jupudi asked

TDP office to become empty

Reiterating that TDP and Congress have conspired against
party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and jailed him fearing for their
political survival, Jupudi said that TDP office would become empty with most of
their leaders leaving it one by one
before Naidu’s Yatra reaches North Andhra.

“There would be no TDP leader to receive him in North
Andhra,” he said, adding some senior leaders are trying to stop Naidu’s Yatra
on some pretext or other with the hope that at least party building NTR Bhavan
could be retained for some paltry purposes.

Leaders from different parties are meeting Mr.Y.S Jagan even
though he is in jail as they have confidence and hope in him. “Everyone thinks
that Y.S. Jagan only can lead the state and because of this they are meeting
him,” he asserted, adding that people are also joining Sharmila for this reason
only.

Jupudi sarcastically said that Naidu has two manufacturing
defects. While his unwillingness to speak the truth is his first defect, his
inability to keep his promises is the second. “This has become clear when he
dispensed with the Rs.2 kg rice scheme and abandoned his promise of
implementing total prohibition,” Jupudi said.

Jupudi said people are not in a position to believe the promises
of Naidu who once said agriculture is waste.

When asked if YSRCP will introduce no confidence motion
against the Kiran Government now as more MLAs of other parties are joining it,
Jupudi said it is not technically possible to do so. “Naidu should do this as
he has enough number of MLAs in the assembly,” he said.

Regarding the TDP leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu’s allegations
that jail officials are supplying mobile phones to Y.S.Jagan
in the jail, Jupudi said Ramakrishnudu should take up the challenge thrown up
by Mr. Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy’s wife Smt Y.S. Bharathi in this regard.
