Chandrababu self-boasting ridiculous

Hyderabad, Aug 29: Slamming Chandrababu Naidu for his remarks in wake of the Nandyal by-poll, YSR Congress has said that TDP has lost numerous by-elections and the boasting of TDP stands no ground of sound reasoning.

Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday Party MLA Kodali Nani said, '

Chandrababu Naidu's challenges and boasting are Quixotic and we pick the gauntlet if all the defectors quit and the state goes for by-polls.'

Chandrababu Naidu has a very poor record in the bypolls and the Nandyal win has many factors attached to it besides the sympathy of two deaths in Bhuma family. Even otherwise, our vote share of 45 % remained intact despite all the misuse of official machinery, he said.

The boasting of experience and strategy by Chandrababu Naidu would have no takers as TDP has lost deposit in 21 of the 44 bypolls held after he took over the TDP and in the two Lok Sabha by-polls the party had lost its deposit.

On the other hand, YSR Congress has a good record in the bypolls and Chandrababu Naidu challenging our leader is ridiculous, he said adding that the TDP leader telling that he had fought Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi is a blatant lie.

He has been asking for the resignation of our MPs for Special Category Status but  first if all the defectors quit and bypolls are held it will be known as to who stands where, he said.

His comment that YSR has kept our leader away from politics has no meaning but the fact remains that Chandrababu Naidu had distanced and cheated the family of NTR, the founder of TDP, he said.

The comment that TDP has won Nadyal due to the development work is not correct as TDP could never win Chandrababu Naidu's home constituency of Chandragiri so far.

'YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has fighting spirit and he will come out in flying colours in the coming days,' he said.
