Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has done gross injustice to Andhra Pradesh in the last four years, YSRCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy said. The YSRCP leader said that Chandrababu has been inconsistent on the issue of Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh, from the very beginning. Rajamohan Reddy said that while remaining unclear on SCS all these days, the AP Chief Minister has been stressing upon special package for the state.
He spoke to media persons on the eve of the party MPs departure to Delhi to take part in the protests for SCS for Andhra Pradesh. "The CM has misled the people of the state on the issue of SCS. Since four years, he has been constantly changing his stance on the issue. Instead of SCS the CM has settled for a special package which is against the promises made in the AP Bifurcation Act," the MP said. The YSRCP protests in Delhi are aimed at bringing pressure on the central government for SCS, he said and added that similar protests will continue till April when the party will introduce a no-confidence motion against the Central government.
