Hyderabad: Reiterating that Chandrababu Naidu has a secret understanding with BJP central leaders, YSR Congress has said that though he boasted of getting sops to the state and will press for the demands at the NITI Ayog meeting he returned like a meek mouse without even a whisper.
Speaking to reporters here on Monday Party senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana said, ' Chandrababu Naidu has a secret understanding with BJP and continues the relationship despite pulling out of NDA coalition which reflects in his silence against the Centre on various public issues.
Though Chandrababu Naidu and his ministers try to blame our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for everything, there was never a word against the Centre, Prime Minister or the union ministers nor did he make any demands ever since he quit the coalition.
Before Karnataka elections, he and his friendly media were very paranoid stating that false cases would be foisted against him and he would be arrested for his involvement in various corruption cases. But nothing of that sort has happened and Chandrababu Naidu maintains silence when it comes to Centre failures, while our leader has been vocal on the issue which shows the difference.
The noise TDP is making for Kadapa Steel Plant is a ploy to divert the attention of the public from his failures and we too demand the steel plant, besides Special Category Status (SCS), Duggarajupatnam Port, Polavaram and other issues mentioned in the Reorganisation Bill.
The question is why was Chandrababu Naidu and his Party silent during the four years while they were sharing power at the Centre, a question which TDP has to answer categorically as his silence has put the clock of development backward by over 25 years, he said.
