Chandrababu dramas on farmers issues

Consoling the bereaved family of Rajsekhar, a farmer who committed suicide last month in Pulivendula, Y S Jagan lamented that though it has been 18 days since the incident, not a single government officer had visited the family.
Speaking to the press on Wednesday,Y S Jagan questioned whether this attitude towards the farmer's family was due to the fact that they hail from Pulivendula. He alleged that the government doesn't seem to hold back when it wants to spend on activities that generate publicity, but does not budge when it is the question of reaching out to a poor farmer's family.
He revealed that out of the 46 farmer families that he had met in Anantapur district, around 20 of them had not received any help so far. He asked the media to 'open the eyes of Chandrababu Naidu' by carrying the distress stories of the affected farmers.
