Chandrababu conspires to get hold of Swarajya ground

Vijayawada: Official spokesperson of the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Vellampalli Srinivas and Vijayawada Central constituency coordinator Malladi Vishnu today said that the State government was trying to allot the Swarajya ground to Pulichintala project's contractor Bolineni Srinaiah. Speaking at a press conference here on Wednesday, they said that as part of Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's scheme, the State government deliberately did not oppose the contractor's claims that the government did not pay the compensation for additional works in Pulichinthala Project.

"Why did Chandrababu not respond to the then Chief Secretaries IYR Krishna Rao and Dinesh Kumar, who advised that the government answer the High Court's appeal over the contractor's claims? they asked.

The YSRCP leaders said that Chandrababu conspired to get hold of the Swarajya ground, 48 acres of land under the project and the irrigation quarters by allotting them to Srinaiah. Adding that the YSRCP would fight a legal battle to safeguard the Swarajya ground, they said that Chandrababu was trying to accumulate funds for sponsoring the upcoming elections. Why did the government not disclose the value of the properties until the High Court asked? they demanded to know.

Recalling that late Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy inaugurated the Pulichintala project to augment the irrigation capacity of the Krishna Delta, they remarked that Chandrababu was planning to flee the country after making huge amounts of money through illegal means like fugitive businessmen Vijay Mallya and Nirav Modi.

"Chandrababu's wife Bhuvaneshwari is one of the richest women in the country and a top-10 feature in the richest people in the State. With a plan to flee the country, Chandrababu built a palatial house in Hyderabad and Hotel in Singapore. How could Chandrababu earn so much wealth in the last four years?" they questioned.
