Chandrababu A Big Villain To Farmers In AP

Chittoor: YSR Congress Party  Farmer Wing President MVS Nagi Reddy fired a salvo at Chandrababu Naidu for neglecting the agriculture sector by making false promises.  He asked the CM as to why the government did not implement Swaminathan Commissions to strengthen the farming sector in Andhra Pradesh.

Demanding all mandals in CM's native district Chittoor as drought hit, Reddy said that Chandrababu shut the dairy industry  to benefit  his family owned Heritage company.  He sought to know the steps taken to protect farmers who  fell in debt trap due to non availability of remunerative price to Tomato. With no works, agricultural labour migrated to other states for livelihoods.

Stating that the YSR Congress will create Rs 5,000 crore market intervention fund to protect the farmers, Reddy said the party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will only rescue the distressed farmers.
