Kurnool: YSR Congress party Farmers wing president Nagi Reddy slammed both the state and Union government over the manner in which they are dealing with farmer issues. He said both the Union and state governments had completely neglected farmers. Talking at the meeting organized to mark National Farmer's day, he said AP government had forgotten National Farmers Day. He expressed his disappointment over the state of farmers in the state. H also added that in the four and half years of TDP rule, there had been five cyclones and major droughts, which had made the life of farmers miserable.
YSRCP leader said the position of farmers in the state is pathetic and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu claims that the state is leading in agriculture, which is false. He added, "Chandrababu has cheated farmers with false pre-poll assurance of free electricity and loan waiver.”
