Guntur: YSR Congress Party president and Leader of the Opposition in AP, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Praja Sankalpa Yatra is successfully continuing in Guntur district. So far, YS Jagan covered YSR district, Kurnool, Anantapur, Chittoor, Nellore, and Prakasam districts. The padayatra is currently on in Guntur. On Thursday, YS Jagan's padayatra entered Pedakurapadu constituency from Sathenapalli constituency.
YS Jagan began the yatra from the outskirts of Gudiwada in Guntur district.
A large number of the YSRCP leaders and locals welcomed the YSRCP chief in a grand manner.
Leader of the Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched his mass contact programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra on November 6, 2017 from Idupulapaya in Dr. YSR Kadapa district, after paying homage to his father, the late Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy at his memorial.
During the course of his walkathon, the YSRCP President lent a patient hearing to the grievances of the people and also received overwhelming response. His promise of Rajanna Rajyam has struck a chord with the masses who nurse the hope of a better tomorrow. Men, women and children poured out their woes to YS Jagan along every step of the way, and had a spate of complaints about the TDP government. Their grievances covered every aspect of governance including healthcare, employment, delay of fee reimbursement, injustice to farmers, and denial of pensions, among others. YS Jagan has reassured the masses of addressing their grievances through the party's Navarathnalu, covering all segments of society.
